Joseph Briones

Joe Briones is a data scientist with Microsoft. He's part of Microsoft's AI Monetization and Marketplace team while completing his PhD in computer sciences from Arizona State University. Joe did his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at ASU.

Joe raised in Chandler, received an honorable mention from Computer Research Association's Outstanding undergraduate researcher in 2020. He continued on as a Dean's Fellow and a Versum Materials Fellowship working with Stryker and Intel.


Joe as an ASU senior, led a computational trading team managing $500,000 of the university endowment funds. During the volatile year of COVID, 2020, they produced one of the strongest performance returns in the endowment's history. Joe brings an investment perspective on the frontier advances in AI and their impact on business, economics and market values.
